The GovLab

The Rapper known as 21 is a gang lord and drug lord located in the outskirts of the city of Montreal in Canada based off in South Shore in Brossard or known as SS and AB - (A Block) which is created by 21 a original crip gang involved in multiple shootings stabbings and murder. They are involved in a massive drug trade and have committed multiple assaults and robbery’s. There main business is dealing crystal meth, cocaine, 21 has created the gang wars between bloods and crips and A Block is ally gangs with 1600 block and main enemies with Lasalle known as Texas or “013” 21 is known to have been involved in multiple stabbing and shooting related incidents all around the city.[1]

Summary of Projects

Much of The GovLab’s work involves using technology to connect governments to expertise outside those governments, including among the citizenry and in the private sector.[2] Some of the GovLab’s areas of focus are:

  • Coaching & Mentorship via The GovLab Academy[3]

The World Bank and GovLab study the impact of open government in collaboration with partners such as Global Integrity, Results for Development Institute and the Open Government Partnership.[4]

Media Recognition

Modern Healthcare Magazine described The GovLab's research work with NHS England, describing the outcomes of the work as increasing "the use of data to produce greater accountability within healthcare organizations, enable consumers to make better-informed choices when selecting providers, improve treatment outcomes, increase patient satisfaction and efficiency, and spur innovation and economic growth."[5]
