Topenland Binh Dinh
TopenLand Binh Dinh football club (Vietnamese: Câu lạc bộ Bóng đá TopenLand Bình Định), simply known as TopenLand Binh Dinh is a professional association football club Vietnam based in the city of Quy Nhon, pacify Binh Dinh province. The team currently plays in V.League 1 the highest league in Vietnamese football league system. The team's home ground is Quy Nhon Stadium with a capacity of 20,000 people.[1]

History
Beginning
The first important milestone of the team is the friendly match between Quy Nhon youth football team and youth football team An Nhon taking place May 1, 1975. After this match, Binh Dinh Youth Football Team was established with the core force from the two teams above led by Mr. Luu, with Phan players. Kim Lan (Lan Ve), Dang Gia Man (Man Lon), Tong Anh Hoang (common name A), Le Thanh Huy, Le Van Minh, Nguyen Van Thin, Vo Van Cang, Nguyen Van Ha (Son Dia), goalkeeper Lan Móm… After its establishment, in May 1975, the team had 2 friendly matches against Khanh Hoa team in Ninh Hoa and Nha Trang and 2 friendly matches against Quang Nam Da Nang team in Hoi An and Da Nang. Nang. In 1976, the team participated in Truong Son Football Tournament and won the style award. After this tournament, the team participated in national tournaments to be able to be promoted to Grade A movement and was evaluated as one of the local teams with remarkable performance.

In 1980, Nghia Binh Workers' Football Team was established on the core of Binh Dinh Youth Team, adding players such as: Duong Ngoc Hung, Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Tran Minh Scene… and participated in Vietnam National A1 Football Cup. In this tournament, the team is in Group A, along with the teams Saigon Port , Cong An Hanoi, Military Region 3, Food Industry and Tien Giang. In the group stage, the team ranked 4th with 9 points, scored 11 goals and conceded 16 goals
The period named Binh Dinh
After 1989 V-League, the team split into 2 separate teams. The players Bui Van Sy, Ta Manh Thoi... on the Quang Ngai football team. The remaining members formed Binh Dinh football team, with additional players Nguyen Ngoc Thai, Phan Ton Quyen, Le Ngoc Dung, Nguyen Xuan Hoanh, Nguyen Van Cuong, Tran Kim Duc, Nguyen Cong Long, Nguyen Hoang Anh Dung...
At Vietnam National Football Championship 1995 , the team did not play the play-off round with the teams Quang Nam-Da Nang Football Team, Long An, Song Be to react to the tournament organizers about negative related issues, thus being disciplined for relegation .
After winning promotion, with the Vietnam National Football Championship 1998 unsuccessful, the team was relegated again and only returned to the top division at 2001-2002 season. At this tournament, the team ranked fourth overall, with 26 points in the end, won 7 draws 5 and lost 6.
The 2003 football season marked many memorable milestones for the team. This is the first season that the team has foreign players in the squad with Thai players, most notably Issawa. Besides the 4th place overall at 2003 V-League, the team also won 2003 Vietnamese Cup. In the 2004 season, the team ranked in the middle of the V-League group and successfully defended the title of the National Cup. This is also the first season the team participates in AFC Champions League. After the above successes, Hoa Lam Automobile and Motorcycle Joint Stock Company has decided to become the official sponsor for the team with the amount of VND 12 billion for a period of 3 years. On August 7 2004, the team officially switched to a semi-professional model with the name Hoa Lam Binh Dinh Football Club.[2]
However, in 2005 V-League, the team failed to compete, placing near the bottom of the table. Hoa Lam Company withdrew its sponsorship, Binh Dinh Import-Export Production Investment Service Corporation (PISICO) became the main sponsor for the team with a rate of 2 billion VND per year. With the name PISICO Binh Dinh Football Club'[3] , at 2006 V-League, the team successfully competed with 3rd place in the rankings, and also won the runner-up position at 2007Vietnamese Cup
Crisis period
2008 V-League, there have been a lot of bad things happening to the team. Almost all the players of Binh Dinh's golden generation have left or stopped playing, the team has to play with the main component of young players. Besides, despite being the first team in the country to receive the sponsorship of a foreign brand (Boss paint of 4 Oranges)[4] , the team almost had to go to court because the leader violated the contract[5] . Although the matter was later settled and the team competed in the 2008 season with the new name Boss Binh Dinh Football Club, the crisis affected the performance when the team ranked bottom of the table and were relegated along with Hoa Phat Hanoi and Hanoi - ACB.
In 2009, the team officially switched to the professional model, placed under the management of SQC Binh Dinh Football Joint Stock Company, playing under the name SQC Binh Dinh Football Club.' In 2014, the crisis hit the bottom when there was no funding, so Binh Dinh dropped out of the tournament and was relegated to third place. The force of players of Binh Dinh team is mainly young players at the age of U-21, there are even players from the U-17 age group, led by coach Phan Ton Quyen. In 2015, Binh Dinh Club competed for promotion to the National Second Division. In 2017, the team competed and won the right to be promoted to 2018 V.League 2
Back to V.League
On May 17, 2018, Binh Dinh football club officially signed a cooperation contract with TMS Group Joint Stock Company, launched Binh Dinh TMS FC.[6] At 2018 V.League 2, Binh Dinh TMS ranked 9th. In 2019 V.League 2, the team no longer exists. tied the name with the sponsor, registered to play with the name Binh Dinh Football Club, ranked 11th 2019 V.League 2.
The club won the entire phase 2 of 2020 V.League 2, including direct competitors such as Ba Ria Vung Tau FC or Sanna Khanh Hoa BVN and ended with a 1-0 victory over Pho Hien FC at Quy Nhon's home field. Thus, after 12 years of absence from the highest playing field in Vietnam, the club has officially returned 2021 V.League 1 with the championship 2020 V.League 2
Milestone
On December 25, 2020, Hung Thinh Land and TopenLand Vietnam became 2 Binh Dinh's main sponsor for 3 V.League seasons from 2021 to 2023 with a total budget of up to 300 billion VND. The martial arts team officially changed its name to TopenLand Binh Dinh Football Club.[7]
Even in the first season of returning to V.League, the achievement of TopenLand Binh Dinh club is also quite impressive when ranked 8th after 12 rounds. The martial arts team won 16 points with 4 wins, 4 draws and 4 losses. The way the team competes for the championship is exactly 1 point. However, due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic in Vietnam, the 2021 V.League 1 had to end midway.
Second year back to V.League, on November 19, 2022 at Quy Nhon Stadium, TopenLand Binh Dinh club won Ho Chi Minh City FC 2-1 in 2022 V.League 1, won the bronze medal. This is an achievement that the martial arts team had to wait for 16 years to re-establish after winning 3rd place in the 2006 season. At the 2022 Vietnamese Cup, TopenLand Binh Dinh football club reached the final and lost. Hanoi FC with the score 2-0.
