U. B. Banakar
Ujaneshwar B. Banakar (born 4 May 1960 in Hirekerur) is an Indian politician, who is a member of the 14th Karnataka Legislative Assembly and represents the Hirekerur constituency.[1]

U.B.Banakar is an Indian politician who is serving as member of legislative assembly in 16th assembly of Karnataka. He is an three times MLA from hirekerur Assembly Constituencies.
He contest 7 times and won 3 times in hirekerur Assembly Constituency. He won 2023 election by largest margin of 15020 votes against then Agricultural Minister,B.C.Patil.His father who was also the speaker of Karnataka Legislative Assembly,B.G.Banakar won this seat three times in 1978 by INC(I) Candidate and 1983 and 1985 as jp Candidates.
