Valery Akhadov
Valery Bakievich Akhadov (Russian: Вале́рий Баки́евич Аха́дов; born August 9, 1945, Samarkand) is a Soviet and Russian theatre and film director. Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation (2002).[1]

Longtime director of Tajikfilm studio, where he shot most of his films.[2] In 1989, his film Ruf starred Annie Girardot.[3]
Since 2004, he became an associate professor at VGIK.[4]
On November 16, 2008, he was elected to the first composition of the federal political council of the Right Cause party being created.[5]
