History
The Wildrose Loyalty Coalition was formed in March 2023 after an internal party dispute led to the ouster of Paul Hinman as leader of the Wildrose Independence Party.[1] Hinman was the founder of the WIP, but was ousted as leader in 2022. After briefly retaking control of the party, the takeover was then overruled by the court.[3] The WLC became a registered political party with Elections Alberta on May 1, 2023.[4]
