William Lee Martin (comedian)
William Lee Martin (born May 21, 1966) also known as Cowboy Bill, is a stand-up comedian and an actor. He is the founder of 'Cowboys Who Care' foundation.[1]

Early life and education
Martin was born on May 21, 1966, at All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, and grew up in Blue Mound. He went to the University of Texas, Arlington. Martin later attended Tarrant County Junior College and received an Associate Arts Degree.
Career
In 1996, Martin started comedy under the pseudonym Cowboy Bill Martin. In three years, he appeared as a headliner at some prestigious clubs in the US including The Funny Bone, the Improv, and Catch a Rising Star.[2][3] In 2002, Martin signed with the Four Points management team, who also managed the Blue Collar Comedy Tour.[4] He produced his first TV show, ‘Cowboy Bill Martin: Let the Laughter Roll’ in 2015.[5] In 2016, Martin started the Kings of Cowtown Comedy Tour with standup comedian Chad Prather.[6] He dropped the stage name ‘Cowboy Bill’ in 2017 and reverted to William Lee Martin.[7]
