Wolfhart Gunnar Hauser (born 5 December 1949) is a German businessman, a former CEO of TUV Sud AG and TUV Product Servie GmbH, a former executive chairman of FirstGroup, and a former chief executive of Intertek, a British global inspection, product testing and certification company, from 2005 to 2015.

Hauser has a master's degree in medicine from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and a doctorate from Technical University Munich.[1]

Hauser wrote his dissertation on the prevention of ski injuries, and went on to develop the ski binding setting that was certified by international standard organisations - his ski binding setting remains an ISO standard.[2] [3][4] [5]

Hauser was also chair of the board of Dragenpharm GmbH, FirstGroup plc, a board member of Sican Gmbh, Logical plc and RELX plc and is a Senior Consult to various Private Equity Groups.
