Xavier Booker

Xavier Booker (born September 9, 2004) is an American college basketball player who attends Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. .

Early life and high school career

Booker grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and attends Cathedral High School.[1][2] He averaged 12.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.3 blocked shots per game as a junior as Cathedral won the Class 4A state championship.[3] Booker was selected to play in the 2023 McDonald's All-American Boys Game.[4] He was also named the Indianapolis City co-Player of the Year.[5]

Recruiting

Booker is a consensus five-star recruit and one of the top players in the 2023 class, according to major recruiting services.[6][7] He committed to play college basketball at Michigan State over offers from Auburn, Cincinnati, Gonzaga, Indiana, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, and Purdue.[8]
