Yeşilyurt, Gaziantep
Yeşilyurt is a town in Islahiye district of Gaziantep Province, Turkey. The town is on Turkish state highway D.825 which connects Antakya to Kahramanmaraş. It is 17 kilometres (11 mi) south of Islahiye. Distance to Gaziantep is 110 kilometres (68 mi). In 2012, the population of Yeşilyurt was 3640.[1] The town was founded in 1991 as a result of merging three villages named Dolan, Yenioba and Alagöz. Major economic activities of the town are Viticulture and peach gardening.[2]
