16:9

16:9 is a widescreen aspect ratio. It was originally thought to look strange.[1] Since 2009, however, it has become the most common aspect ratio for televisions and computer monitors. It is the international format of digital television HDTV Full HD and SD TV. It has replaced the fullscreen 4:3 aspect ratio.
