Abercrombie River National Park
Abercrombie River National Park is a national park in New South Wales, Australia. It is 138 kilometres (86 miles) west of Sydney. The Abercrombie and Retreat Rivers flow through the park. The park protects a large area of open forest, the largest area in this part of New South Wales.[2] There are large trees, Casuarina cunninghamia, growing along the river. The river is normally a series of deep waterholes.[3] In the park there are platypuses, rakalis, wallaroos, red-necked wallabies, swamp wallabies and Eastern Grey Kangaroos.
