Andrew Breitbart
Andrew Breitbart (February 1, 1969 - March 1, 2012) was an American libertarian political commentator. Breitbart was a member of the Democratic Party but left in the 1990s because he thought that the Democrats were unfair to Clarence Thomas after Anita Hill accused Thomas of sexual harassment. Breitbart became a member of the Republican Party after he started listening to Rush Limbaugh on the radio. Breitbart criticized a lot of journalists. He said that they had a wikt:bias to left-wing politics. Even though he was right-wing, Breitbart supported gay marriage. Breitbart helped Arianna Huffington create the Huffington Post when she was a Republican. He also helped Matt Drudge create his Internet show The Drudge Report. Breitbart later created his own website Breitbart.com also called Breitbart News network. He said the site would be like the Huffington Post but right-wing. Breitbart hired Ben Shapiro, Steven Crowder, Steve Bannon, Michelle Fields and many other people to work at Breitbart News. Breitbart died of a heart attack in 2012. Steve Bannon took over Breitbart News from him.
