Asa Hutchinson

Asa Hutchinson (born December 3, 1950) is an American politician. On January 13, 2015, he became the 46th Governor of Arkansas and was elected again on 11 November 2018. He is a Republican. He was the administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration.[2]

Hutchinson was born in Bentonville, Arkansas. He is a descendant of Alexander Simpson Hutchinson, a government official and slave owner in South Carolina and Arkansas.[3][4][5] He lives there with his wife, Susan Burrell Hutchinson. He has four children.
