Belonesox

Belonesox is a genus of fishes containing two species which are extant and extinct.

Parabelonesocidae

Parabelonesocidae is a family of prehistoric toothcarps. They resembled the pike topminnow, but the snout was pointy and sharp. It may be closely related to Belonesox. They attacked other prehistoric fish with their sharp noses.
