Fikile Mbalula

Fikile April Mbalula (born 8 April 1971 in the Free State) is a South African politician and former Minister of Police of South Africa.[1][2]

Mbalula also serves as President of the African National Congress Youth League.[3]

Career

Mbalula was appointed deputy police minister in Jacob Zuma's cabinet in 2009. In 2011, he was promoted to minister of Sports and Recreation.[4]
