Filippo Grandi
Filippo Grandi (born 1957) is an Italian diplomat. Between 2010 and 2014, he was Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).[1]

On November 11, 2015, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon announced his plans to appoint Grandi as the next United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to take office in 2016.[2]
