George Wein
George Wein (October 3, 1925 – September 13, 2021) was an American jazz promoter, pianist, and producer.[1] He was the founder of the Newport Jazz Festival. He also co-founded the Newport Folk Festival with Peter Seeger and Theodore Bikel. He also founded the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.
