Jack Thompson (actor)
Jack Thompson AM (born John Hadley Pain; 31 August 1940) is an Australian actor.

He went to the University of Queensland in Brisbane.[1]
Thompson was born in Manly, a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales. He has two children.
He is best known for his roles in Australian movies such as Sunday Too Far Away (1975), Breaker Morant (1980), The Club (1980) and The Man from Snowy River (1982).
In 2002, he was made an honorary member of the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS).
