Jiří Zídek Sr.

Jiří Zídek Sr. (8 February 1944 – 21 May 2022) was a Czech professional basketball player and coach. He was inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2019. He played for the Czechoslovakia men's national basketball team in the 1972 Summer Olympics. Zídek Sr. was born in Prague.

Zídek Sr. died on 21 May 2022 in Prague, Czech Republic at the age of 78.[1]
