José José
José Rómulo Sosa Ortiz (February 17, 1948 — September 28, 2019),[1] known by his stage name José José, was a Mexican singer, musician and occasional actor. His 1983 album Secretos has sold over 7 million units. With a large number of international hits, he received several Grammy nominations and recognition worldwide.[2][3]

In March 2017, he announced that he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.[4] On 28 September 2019, José José died of the disease at a hospital in Homestead, Florida,[5] at the age of 71.[6]
