Joseph Ayo Babalola

Joseph Ayo Babalola (25 April 1904 – 26 July 1959) was the first General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church,[1] Nigeria.

Death

The death of Joseph Ayo Babalola took place on 26 July 1959 at Ede, Osun State, Nigeria. Babalola seemed to have shown "no sign of illness" prior to his death.[2][3]

The story of his death is credited to one Baba Abiye at Ede.[4] The story was later republished by Prophet I. O. Ogedegbe.[5]
