History

Kim Il-sung had made a cult of personality closely tied to the North Korean state philosophy of Juche. Kim Il-sung's cult of personality was passed on to his son, Kim Jong-il, then to his grandson, Kim Jong-un. All three men have had absolute power and control over North Korea for decades.
