Liriodendron tulipifera
American tulip tree (Liriodendron tulipifera), also called tulip poplar or yellow poplar is a type of tree. It is one of the two species in the genus Liriodendron. L. tulipifera can be found in Eastern North America. The tree can grow to over 50 m (164 ft). It often has no limbs until it reaches 25-30 m (80-100 feet) in height.
