Rocket League

Rocket League is a vehicular association football video game. It is developed and published by Psyonix. It was first released on Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 in July 2015. It was later released on Xbox One, OS X and Linux in 2016. It is a sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (2008).

It is multiplayer and single-player. Single-player has the "Season" game mode where the player plays against bots. Multiplayer is online and has 1 versus 1, 2 versus 2, 3 versus 3 and 4 versus 4 modes.

Players control a rocket-powered car and use it to hit a ball that is much larger than the cars towards the other team's goal area to score points.

Since 2019 the game has been owned by Epic Games[1]

The game has received very positive reviews. As of January 2017, the game has had 25 million players since 2015.[2]

Competitive: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 2v2 Hoops, 3v3 Rumble, 3v3 Snow Day, 3v3 Dropshot

  • Bronze 1-3
  • Silver 1-3
  • Gold 1-3
  • Platinum 1-3
  • Diamond 1-3
  • Champion 1-3
  • Grand Champion 1-3
  • Supersonic Legend


MMR Ranking System

In the lower ranks up to Diamond 3 it takes 2 matches one to division up once. In The higher ranks of champ to super sonic legend it takes 4-7 wins to division up.

Pro Play

Rocket League has its own esports event called RLCS
There are 16 Teams 
There are seasonal majors and annual Land events
The pros are all of the highest rank Super Sonic Legend
Only 0.05% of players are Super Sonic Legend
