Soyuz MS-19
Soyuz MS-19 is a Soyuz spaceflight planned for launch on 5 October 2021.[1] Soyuz MS-19 will be the 147th flight of a crewed Soyuz spacecraft. The crew will have a Russian commander, Russian movie director Klim Shipenko and Russian actress Yulia Peresild.[2]
Shipenko and Peresild are planned to spend about a week on the ISS before returning to Earth aboard Soyuz MS-18, with plans of filming a movie in space, Vyzov (Russian: Вызов, lit. 'The Challenge').[3] The flight will launch three crew members of the Expedition 66.[4]
Without an American astronaut, this would make the first time in more than 21 years that a Soyuz crew only includes Russian cosmonauts and travelers.[5]
