Toosie Slide
"Toosie Slide" is a song by Canadian rapper Drake. It was released on April 3, 2020. It is featured on his mixtape, Dark Lane Demo Tapes (2020).[1] The song was featured in a viral dance challenge of the same name on the social media app TikTok. The viral dance was performed while the song was still unreleased.[2] Drake wrote the song with Nick Kobe and its producer, OZ.[3]

The song entered at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US, giving Drake his seventh US chart-topper and third number-one debut there, after “God’s Plan” and “Nice for What”. This ties the record with Mariah Carey for most songs which entered at number one.[4] He also earned his 37th top-ten hit, giving him the most for a male artist.[4]
