History
    
WOW air began in November 2011.[1] Its first flight was on 1 June 2012.[2] The airline flew 11 airplanes from the Airbus A320 family to destinations in Europe, North America and the Middle East.[3]
Wow air stopped operations on 28 March 2019. All flights were cancelled and thousands of stranded passengers were told to book with other airliners.[4]
