Wim de Jongh
Wim de Jongh (7 January 1928 – 9 September 2022) was a Dutch footballer who played as an attacker. De Jong played with USV Elinkwijk in the Eredivisie, the Dutch highest level of professional football in the Netherlands. In the 1955-56 season he scored 32 times and became top-3 topsorer that season. He became an honorary member of USV Elinkwijk.[1][2] In 1960 he moved to SBV Vitesse.[3]

De Jongh lived in Nieuwegein almost all his life. He died in Nieuwegein on 9 September 2022, at the age of 94 years old.[1]
