Premise
The show is about a yellow gerbil named Wubbzy who likes to play with his best friends: Widget, the pink rabbit; Walden, the purple bear; and Daizy, the teal puppy. They all live in Wuzzleburg.

Main
- Wubbzy (voiced by Grey DeLisle) is a childish friendly yellow gerbil-like creature who is the member of an uncategorizable mammalian clade. He is small, cute and obsessed with his tail, on which he can bounce like a pogo stick. His friends are Widget, Daizy, Huggy, Buggy, Earl, Walden, Chef Fritz, Old Lady Zamboni, Sparkle, Shimmer, and Shine.
- Widget (voiced by Lara Jill Miller) is a pink rabbit-like creature who is a mechanical whiz with an incredibly heavy stereotypical Southern accent. She is a builder and engineer who builds all sorts of things.
- Walden (voiced by Carlos Alazraqui) is a purple bear-like creature with an Australian accent. His kinds of love for science are a common thread in the show.
- Daizy (voiced by Tara Strong) is an aquamarine dog-like creature who is Wubbzy's neighbor and Widget, Walden and Wubbzy's best friend. As her name suggests, she loves flowers.
