Adi Parashakti
Within Shaktism tradition of Hinduism, Adi Para Shakti is the Supreme Being. She is Mahadevi also known as Durga or Jagat Janani Jagdamba and is recognized as Para Brahman (the highest Brahman). In many Shakta texts she is known as "Parma" meaning supreme, and "Satya" meaning truth.[4] The Devi Bhagavatam says that Adi Parashakti is the original creator, observer and destroyer of the whole universe.
