Ahmad Faraz

Ahmad Faraz (real name Syed Ahmad Shah, January 1931-25 August 2008) was a Pakistani Urdu poet. 'Faraz' was his pen name (Urdu: takhalus). He is considered one of the best Urdu poets of recent times.
