Albert Uderzo
Alberto Aleandro Uderzo (French pronunciation: [albɛʁ ydɛʁzo]; Italian: [uˈdɛrtso]; 25 April 1927 – 24 March 2020),[1] known as Albert Uderzo, was a French comic book artist and scriptwriter. He was best known for his work on the Astérix series and also drew other comics such as Oumpah-pah, also in collaboration with René Goscinny.[2]

Uderzo died on 24 March 2020 of a heart attack in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, aged 92.[1]
