Alphonso Davies
Alphonso Boyle Davies (born November 2, 2000) is a Canadian-French professional footballer who plays as a left-back or winger for Bayern Munich and the Canadian national team. He has also played for Vancouver Whitecaps FC of the Major League Soccer (MLS) from 2016 until 2018.

Davies played for Canada at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He scored the first ever goal for Canada at a FIFA World Cup event in a 4-1 loss to Croatia.[2]
Davies is an ambassador for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.[3]
