American occupation zone

The American Zone of Occupation was part of Allied Occupied Germany after the defeat of Nazi Germany.

Germany was occupied by the Soviets, the French, the Americans, and the British. This took place shortly after World War II. The American Zone of Occupation's first military governor was Dwight Eisenhower, later the President of the United States of America it remained as a Occupied territory from 1945 until 1949. During the aftermath of Germany’s defeat in 1945 there were some Sabotages by the Nazi Plan Operation Werwolf .
