Amy Gutmann
Amy Gutmann (born 1949) is an American political scientist, academic and politician. She is the United States Ambassador to Germany since 2022. She was the eighth president of the University of Pennsylvania from 2004 until 2022.

On July 2, 2021, President Joe Biden nominated her to serve as the United States Ambassador to Germany. On February 8, 2022, the United States Senate confirmed her nomination by a 54-42 vote.[1]
