Anand Satyanand
Sir Anand Satyanand, GNZM, QSO (born 22 July 1944) is a New Zealand lawyer, academic, judge and politician. He was the 19th Governor-General of New Zealand from 2006 to 2011.

Satyanand was chair of the Commonwealth Foundation for two 2-year terms.[1]
In August 2019 he was elected to be Chancellor of the University of Waikato for a 4-year term.
