As-Suwayda
As-Suwayda' (Arabic: السويداء / ALA-LC: as-Suwaydā’), also spelled Sweida, is a city in southwestern Syria. Its people mainly follow Druzism. It is the capital of Muhafazat as-Suwayda', one of Syria's 14 governorates.
