Ashes to Ashes (TV series)
Ashes to Ashes is a British television crime drama series set in London. It is a sequel to the 2006-2007 series Life on Mars.[1] It is a Kudos Film & Television production for the BBC, and was broadcast on BBC One. It was first shown on 7 February 2008.

Philip Glenister, who plays Gene Hunt, has said in an interview that "he does not think any show featuring his character should be made afterwards."
The second series was broadcast from 20 April - 8 June 2009. The third, final series was shown from 2 April to 21 May 2010.
