Asif Farrukhi
Asif Aslam Farrukhi (Urdu: آصف اسلم فرخی), was a Pakistani writer and editor. He was a physician by training.[1] He translated books from English into Urdu. He edited anthologies of Pakistani writers. He also wrote for Dawn and other newspapers, and periodicals on literature. He received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, the fourth highest civilian honour of Pakistan.

Farrukhi was born on 16 September 1959. He died on 1 June 2020 in Karachi, aged 60.[2]
