Chris Gascoyne

Christopher "Chris" Gascoyne (born 31 January 1968)[1] is an English actor, who is known for his role as the seventh Peter Barlow in the long-running ITV soap opera Coronation Street (2000–2003, 2007–present). Gascoyne has been nominated for several accolades at the British Soap Awards for his portrayal of Peter Barlow.

Early life

Gascoyne was born on 31 January 1968 in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire to Marian and Derrick Gascoyne. He attended Ashfield School, Kirkby in Ashfield.[2] Gascoyne trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.[3]

Personal life

Gascoyne lives in Chorlton, Manchester with his wife, actress Caroline Harding. They have three children.[2]
