Dean Jones (cricketer)

Dean Mervyn Jones AM (24 March 1961 24 September 2020) was an Australian cricket commentator, coach and former cricketer. He played Tests and One Day Internationals for Australia. In 2019 Jones was added into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame.[1] He was born near Melbourne, Victoria. He played for Victoria, Derbyshire and the national team. He worked for The Sydney Morning Herald.

Jones died of cardiac arrest caused by a stroke at a Mumbai hospital on 24 September 2020 at the age of 59.[2]
