Ed Shaughnessy
Edwin Thomas "Ed" Shaughnessy (January 9, 1929 - May 24, 2013) was an American singer for swing music and bebop drummer who was associated with The Tonight Show Band that appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and grew up in New York City. Shaughnessy was married to Ilene Woods. He died on May 24, 2013, age eighty-four.[1][2]
