Esslingen, Switzerland
Esslingen is a village in the municipality of Egg in the canton of Zürich. It is Pfannenstiel region, approx. 15 km (9.3 mi) southeast of Zürich. In the local dialect it is called Esslinge.

The population is 1752 (as of 2012). A mounment commemorating World War I is located a Forch, a village and hill which also a popular recreation area for the people of Zürich.
