Eugene Talmadge

Eugene Talmadge was Georgia's 55th governor,[1] running two terms that went throughout January 10th, 1933 - January 12th, 1937.[1] His second term went throughout January 14th, 1941 - January 12th, 1943. Eugene passed before he could be sworn in again due to liver ailment. [2] His death caused the three governors controversy. [3]
