Birth

Forti was born in Milan on July 16, 1910 and graduated in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1935.[1]

Works

He was a pupil and influenced by Piero Portaluppi and Gualtiero Galmanini and criticized by Gio Ponti for this link. Portaluppi's relationship with Ponti often proves to be conflicting even if a deep mutual esteem never fails between the two architects.

Giordano Forti collaborated on several projects with Piero Portaluppi, Gualtiero Galmanini and Gio Ponti with whom he will realize the extension of the Politecnico di Milano, architecture school, with the "Leonardo" Campus in 1956.

The best known masterpiece of the Palazzo Forti in Viale Beatrice d'Este 16 in Milan, in the Quadronno district, designed in 1957 with Camillo Magni.

Carlo Perogalli and Attilio Mariani built the adjacent two buildings in Viale Beatrice d'Este 24 (The Abstract House) and Viale Beatrice d'Este 26 designed in 1952.
