Hunting magic

Hunting magic is a term to say that forms of magic are associated with rituals in hunter-gatherer societies. Such rituals may be the start of religion.

This figure was found as part of a painted cave in France. It is generally known as The Sorcerer, and was made around 13.000 BC. It is interpreted as a shaman performing a ritual to ensure good hunting.
