Ian Callaghan
Ian Robert Callaghan MBE (born 10 April 1942) is a retired English footballer. He played between 1959 and 1982 as a midfielder. He is best known as a Liverpool player. He holds the record for most times played for Liverpool, at 857 appearances. He won 17 honours with Liverpool, including two European Cups, in 1977 and 1978. He also played four times for the England national football team.
