Joe Hawke
Joseph Parata Hohepa Hawke MNZM (1940 – 22 May 2022) was a New Zealand politician and Māori land rights activist. He was a member of Parliament for the Labour Party from 1996 to 2002. In the 2008 Queen's Birthday Honours, Hawke was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit.[1]

Hawke died on 22 May 2022 at the age of 82.[2]
