José Rizal Coliseum
José Rizal Coliseum also referred to as the Calamba Coliseum is a 10,000-capacity indoor arena that will serve as a sports venue and convention center in Calamba City, Laguna, Philippines; south of Metro Manila. It is named after the Philippine National Hero, Jose Rizal who was born in Calamba, Laguna on June 19, 1861. [1]

History
Construction of the coliseum began in April of 2017. [2]
It can be found across the Calamba City Hall, facing the Rizal Monument (Calamba). The design was based on a jar claypot, a symbol of the city. [3]
