Leslie Uggams
Leslie Marian Uggams (born May 25, 1943)[1] is an American actress and singer. She is known as her role as Kizzy Reynolds in the television miniseries Roots (1977). She also appeared on the Broadway musical Hallelujah, Baby!, winning a Tony Award in 1968. Uggams was born in New York City.
